Giacoia's inks on Sgt. Fury were good, but I miss the distinctive rougher inks of Carl Hubbell.
"how these stories were written" - stop and think how the cat burglar and the theft of scientific equipment were mentioned in #29 . . . that certainly muddies up the waters.
SpMA#2 - I really liked it. All this summer's annuals were more spectacle than anything else . . . and that's okay with me.
FFA-3: "extra pages for an Annual" - it was only 3 extra pages!
SpMA-2: "Not a bad 19 pages" - it was 20pp.
